Accommodation Service Levels
Due to the pandemic and in line with other hospitality organisations, we have been experiencing supply chain issues across several different areas, including team shortages, which unfortunately puts some added pressure on us to be able to deliver the experience you expect, but be assured we are doing all we can to ensure you have an excellent stay with us.
During your stay, we will endeavour to service your room daily as advertised but cannot guarantee. Should you wish new towels, additional toilet rolls or anything else please ask at reception.
Breakfast is served daily in the residence dining rooms from 7am until 9.30am.
Check in is from available from 3pm, guests are required to depart by 10am.
A courtesy telephone is available in the reception foyer for access to taxis, doctors, and emergency services. Telephone numbers are displayed next to the phone.
Electrical adaptors which have been purchased out with the UK are often unearthed and do not meet British Electrical Safety Standards (BESS). To ensure the safety of all guests, please purchase an electrical adaptor that meets the BESS regulations.
Emergency services – 999
Ambulance, fire, and police services can be contacted by calling 999. If you are using a University internal telephone you should dial 9999.
Free wifi is available for all guests via BT Openzone. Find out how to get connected to guest wifi.
Minor repairs and replacements of light bulbs etc will be attended to as soon as possible. Any maintenance issues should be reported to your reception or porter as soon as possible for prompt attention.
Noise should be kept to a reasonable level, especially after 11pm.
Every effort is made to ensure University premises are secure. Please ensure your door is locked and windows are securely closed when your room is not occupied. The University cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
The University Security and Response Team are available 24 hours a day if you have any concerns or require to report a security incident or crime of any type. They can be contacted by calling +44 (0)1334 46 8999 or if you are using a University internal telephone dial 8999.
Smoking and vaping
All University buildings are non-smoking areas. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any building or areas immediately outside University buildings.
Taxi numbers are available at reception areas.
The University is committed to conserving our country’s natural resources. Every day, tons of detergent and millions of gallons of water are used to wash towels which have only been used once. If you leave your towel on the towel rail it means “I’ll use it again” and it won’t be replaced. A towel left on the floor means “Please exchange” and will be replaced.
University Sports Centre
Saints Sport provides facilities and equipment for most sports, including a fitness suite and personal trainers. Guests can use the sports facilities at a discounted rate of £5 for access to the gym or classes. Show your accommodation keycard at the sports reception desk when booking, or quote your guest reservation number if calling in advance to book.
