We all want to host our conferences and events face to face, however over the past year there has been a steep curve to hosting virtual events. This has taken the challenge of planning any type of event in a new technical direction. Going forward it is likely that the future of conferences, meetings and events will retain the inclusion of digital solutions to support in the delivery of hybrid events.
We are working to support your virtual requirements
The Accommodation, Conferences and Events team have been delivering a range of virtual events that replaced face to face events that were due to take place here in St Andrews in 2021. Since the beginning of Semester One in 2020, the team have supported a range of events including Freshers Week, Undergraduate Visiting Days, the Nineteenth Annual Conference of the Society of Dix-Neuviémistes, and the Association of Anthropologists Conference 2021. To date over 17000 attendees have participated in the programme of virtual events, and many more are in the pipeline.
